UNDERSTANDING LEVELS OF CARE
What Is a Continuum of Addiction Treatment Care?
A continuum of care is a structured sequence of treatment levels, each matched to the clinical needs and progress of the individual. Recovery rarely follows a single fixed path. The goal is to match each person to the most appropriate level of care at each stage, and to ensure seamless transitions as needs change.
At Reign Recovery, we assess each individual at intake and build a treatment pathway specific to them, beginning at the most appropriate level and planning the full arc of care from the very first conversation.
ALL PROGRAMS
Addiction Treatment Programs at Reign Recovery
Each program is designed with a specific clinical purpose. Our admissions team will help determine which level is right based on a confidential clinical assessment, a conversation that costs nothing and carries no obligation.
01. Medical Detox
FIRST STEP IN RECOVERY
Medically supervised withdrawal management for alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, and more. Our licensed medical team monitors every step of the detox process 24 hours a day, ensuring safety, comfort, and a clear transition into ongoing treatment.
Duration: 3-10 days (clinically determined)
24/7 physician and nursing oversight
FDA-approved medications where appropriate
All major insurance accepted
02. Residential Inpatient Rehab
HIGHEST NON-HOSPITAL LEVEL OF CARE
Immersive 24/7 structured addiction treatment. Individuals live on-site and receive comprehensive clinical programming including individual therapy, group therapy, dual diagnosis care, gender-specific tracks, trauma-informed treatment, holistic therapies, 12-step integration, and discharge planning.
Duration: 30-90+ days (clinically determined)
CBT, DBT, trauma-informed, holistic therapies
All major insurance accepted
03. Dual Diagnosis Treatment
INTEGRATED CO-OCCURRING CARE
Integrated treatment for individuals living with both a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health condition, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. Both conditions are assessed and treated simultaneously throughout the programme, producing significantly better long-term outcomes than addressing them separately.
Integrated psychiatric evaluation at intake
Trauma-informed throughout all care
Medication management where indicated
Insurance covers dual diagnosis care
04. Aftercare & Alumni Support
LONG-TERM RECOVERY
Recovery does not end at discharge. Reign Recovery's aftercare and alumni support connect individuals with continued community, relapse-prevention planning, and accountability structures well beyond their time in residential treatment. Discharge planning begins on Day 1 to ensure no gaps in support when the residential program concludes.
Discharge planning from Day 1 of admission
Relapse prevention planning
Alumni community and peer connection
Continued therapy referrals and coordination
TREATMENT APPROACHES
Evidence-Based & Holistic Therapies
Every level of care at Reign Recovery integrates a comprehensive suite of evidence-based and holistic therapies, tailored to each individual's needs, history, and treatment goals.
FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
How to Choose the Right Level of Care
The right level of care depends on several clinical and personal factors. Our admissions team conducts a comprehensive confidential assessment — at no cost and with no obligation, to help determine the most appropriate starting point and treatment plan.
CONSIDER MEDICAL DETOX IF...
You have physical dependence
If you are physically dependent on alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or other substances, medical detox is the essential and safest first step. Attempting withdrawal without clinical supervision can be life-threatening for certain substances.
CONSIDER RESIDENTIAL REHAB IF...
You need structure and removal from triggers
If previous attempts to stop have not succeeded, if your home environment poses a risk to recovery, or if you have a moderate to severe substance use disorder, residential inpatient rehab provides the structure, community, and clinical support needed for lasting change.
CONSIDER DUAL DIAGNOSIS IF...
Mental health is part of the picture
If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma responses, mood instability, or other mental health symptoms alongside substance use, dual diagnosis treatment ensures both conditions receive the clinical attention they require simultaneously.
Not sure which level is right?
Our admissions team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
A brief confidential conversation is all it takes to get clarity on the right next step — at no cost and with absolutely no obligation.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
Most Insurance Plans Cover Addiction Treatment
Under federal mental health parity laws, insurance providers are required to cover substance use disorder treatment, including medical detox and residential inpatient rehab, at the same level as other medical conditions. Reign Recovery works with all major insurance providers.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Therapies & Treatment Approaches — FAQs
-
At admission, our clinical team conducts a comprehensive assessment covering your substance use history, medical history, trauma history, mental health conditions, and personal recovery goals. The clinical team reviews this assessment together and builds an individualized treatment plan based on what you specifically need — not a generic program template. That plan is reviewed with you, and updated regularly throughout treatment as you progress.
-
Your treatment plan is built around clinical need, not a fixed menu of mandatory activities. Some elements — individual therapy, group therapy, and clinical programming — are core components of every residential program. Others, including specific modalities like MAT, family therapy, or certain holistic practices, are included based on individual clinical assessment and preference. You are an active participant in your own treatment planning.
-
No. MAT is offered when clinically appropriate — specifically for individuals with opioid use disorder or alcohol use disorder where FDA-approved medications are part of the evidence-based standard of care. All MAT decisions are made by our licensed medical team in consultation with the individual, based on clinical criteria. MAT is never required and never used as a standalone treatment.
-
Both CBT and DBT are evidence-based therapies used extensively in addiction treatment, but they target different things. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) focuses on identifying and changing thought patterns that drive substance use and destructive behavior. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) focuses on building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills — it is particularly effective for individuals with intense emotional responses or co-occurring conditions like borderline personality disorder, PTSD, or severe anxiety. Many individuals benefit from both.
-
Trauma-informed care means that every element of the treatment environment — how staff communicate, how spaces are designed, how clinical decisions are made, and how the program is structured — is shaped by an understanding of how trauma affects people. In practice at Reign Recovery, it means that no individual is ever required to disclose trauma before they are ready, that all interactions are conducted with an awareness of trauma's impact, and that clinical modalities are selected and delivered with trauma sensitivity throughout. It is a clinical framework, not a single therapy.
-
Yes. Most major insurance plans cover evidence-based therapy as part of residential inpatient and medical detox treatment. Federal mental health parity laws require insurance companies to cover behavioral health treatment at the same level as other medical services. Our admissions team verifies your specific coverage confidentially and at no cost. Call +1 (323) 356-3668 or submit a confidential inquiry to begin verification.
